Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced machine learning models, focusing on deep neural networks and transformer architectures.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI product development, from data ingestion and model training to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, Engineering) to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends, specifically in generative AI and edge computing.
- Implement best practices for MLOps, ensuring high availability and model performance at scale.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical vision of the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development and machine learning.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and C++.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and large language model fine-tuning.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Track record of delivering high-impact AI products in a fast-paced startup environment.
