Key Responsibilities:
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the strategic planning and architectural design for the 2026 Horizon Project, aligning technical roadmaps with long-term business objectives.
- High-Level Engineering: Oversee the architecture of scalable, distributed systems that will support enterprise-grade workloads in the years to come.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research and development efforts in emerging technologies, including quantum computing interfaces and advanced AI integration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, design, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select external technology partners and platforms that align with the 2026 strategic vision.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to C-suite executives.
