Responsibilities
- Architect and Deploy: Design, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models and LLMs on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune existing models to improve accuracy, latency, and cost-efficiency in production environments.
- Research and Development: Stay at the forefront of AI research, implementing novel techniques such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Agent-based systems.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to translate complex business requirements into technical AI solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in AI/ML or Data Science.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow); familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate).
- LLM Expertise: Deep understanding of transformer architectures, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning methodologies.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering complex systems under tight deadlines.
