Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Architecture: Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture of large-scale AI and machine learning systems, ensuring alignment with the 2026 technological vision.
- Model Development: Spearhead the development and optimization of proprietary AI models, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and reduced inference latency.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of data scientists and engineers, conducting code reviews, architectural design sessions, and technical mentoring.
- Production Deployment: Collaborate with MLOps teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into cloud infrastructure, utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS/Azure.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of the industry, evaluating emerging technologies (such as Transformer models, reinforcement learning, and edge AI) and integrating them into our product suite.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and design teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent extensive industry experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML architecture and model development.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Proven experience designing systems for NLP, Computer Vision, or LLMs.
- System Design: Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical strategies to executive leadership.
