Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure and distributed systems for Project 2026.
- Model Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize deep learning models for inference speed and resource efficiency on heterogeneous hardware.
- Cloud Strategy: Define and implement cloud-native strategies using AWS or Azure, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Security & Compliance: Establish rigorous security protocols and data governance frameworks to protect sensitive proprietary data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and mid-level architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Roadmap Planning: Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap, identifying emerging technologies that align with Project 2026 goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning architecture.
- Technical Skills: Extensive proficiency in Python, C++, and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Cloud Expertise: Proven track record designing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Quantum Awareness: Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and their potential impact on future AI architectures.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
