Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of large-scale AI and machine learning platforms.
- Define technical roadmaps and standards for the AI team, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into advanced technical solutions.
- Oversee the deployment and optimization of models in production environments, focusing on latency and cost efficiency.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research (e.g., Transformers, Diffusion Models, Reinforcement Learning) and integrate relevant technologies.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar deep learning frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and deploying MLOps pipelines using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS SageMaker.
- Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision (depending on specialization).
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) and semantic search technologies.
