Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex 2D interactive graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations across all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect interactive elements.
- Maintain and expand our internal 2D animation library and engineering patterns.
- Debug complex rendering issues and implement cross-browser compatibility solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for graphics programming.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern CSS frameworks.
- Deep understanding of the HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and CSS animations.
- Experience with 2D graphics libraries such as Pixi.js, Phaser, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize heavy graphical computations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related technical field.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex 2D web interactions and animations is required.
