Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust 2D game mechanics, physics engines, and interaction systems using C# and Unity.
- Optimize rendering pipelines for 2D assets to ensure 60FPS performance across a wide range of devices.
- Collaborate closely with 2D artists and designers to translate concepts into polished, production-ready code.
- Debug complex issues in 2D physics calculations and rendering layers.
- Integrate third-party 2D plugins and tools to enhance visual fidelity and gameplay depth.
- Mentor junior developers and establish coding standards for 2D projects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D game development using Unity (C#).
- Strong proficiency in 2D physics engines (Box2D, Physics2D) and custom shader development.
- Experience with WebGL export and cross-platform deployment.
- Deep understanding of sprite management, atlases, and texture compression.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to pixel-perfect detail.
- Portfolio showcasing 2D games or interactive web experiences is mandatory.
