Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and bio-digital interfaces
- Lead cross-functional sprints with robotics, AR/VR, and nanotech teams
- Present quarterly futurist briefings to C-suite and board members
- Manage $15M R&D budget for 2026-focused prototype development
- Author white papers on societal impacts of autonomous systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and leading universities
- Mentor 10-person innovation lab on exponential technology forecasting
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 12+ years in tech R&D with 5+ in strategic foresight roles
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Expertise in at least three exponential technologies: quantum, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Top 1% completion of MIT Technology Review's FutureTech Certification
