Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy quantum computing infrastructure supporting 1000+ qubit processors
- Design cryogenic systems maintaining sub-10 millikelvin operating environments
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Integrate classical-quantum hybrid computing architectures
- Optimize quantum network connectivity across global research facilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Document quantum system performance metrics and optimization strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in superconducting qubit technology and cryogenic engineering
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
