As a key member of our Future Technologies division, you'll architect hybrid quantum-classical systems that push the boundaries of computation. You'll collaborate with Nobel Prize-winning researchers and industry pioneers to build fault-tolerant quantum networks that will transform cryptography, materials science, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen security infrastructure
- Lead deployment of quantum annealing systems for optimization problems
- Create quantum network topologies supporting distributed quantum computing
- Optimize quantum error correction algorithms for real-world scalability
- Architect cryogenic cooling systems supporting 1000+ qubit processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years designing quantum computing or extreme-scale HPC infrastructure
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep knowledge of quantum annealing and NISQ systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Published research in quantum information science preferred
