Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum circuits
- Integrate quantum processors with classical high-performance computing infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and implementation
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum networks)
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum chip design and cryogenic systems
- Document architectural specifications and conduct performance benchmarking
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols (Shor's, Grover's algorithms)
