Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Integrate quantum hardware with classical computing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quantum computing roadmaps
- Contribute to open-source quantum software libraries and tools
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Document technical specifications and publish research findings
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level system programming
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced, research-oriented environments
