Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Author patents and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Partner with government agencies on post-quantum standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience (IBM/Google/Rigetti)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design
- Publication record in quantum information theory
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with parallel computing experience
