Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead qubit coherence experiments and error-correction protocol development
- Collaborate on quantum-classical hybrid system architectures
- Author peer-reviewed research publications and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
- Participate in cross-functional quantum application development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or computational complexity
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with machine learning for quantum system optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
