Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype qubit architectures
- Lead peer-reviewed research publications in Nature Physics/Science
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Present findings at global quantum summits (Q2B, IQIM)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and group theory
- Validated track record of securing research funding
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
