Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop error-corrected quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives to overcome current quantum decoherence challenges
- Publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise quantum computing interns
- Develop patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions for real-world problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
