Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead experiments on 100+ qubit systems to solve intractable computational problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in NSF grants for quantum AI integration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealers (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
