Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols using machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stabilization techniques
- Author peer-reviewed research on quantum supremacy milestones
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptography frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum complexity theory
- Partner with government agencies on quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development (Shor's/Grover's implementations)
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq with 100+ quantum simulations deployed
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum computing libraries
- Experience with superconducting/photonic quantum systems
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum research grants
