Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector partners
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in low-level programming (C++, Python) and high-performance computing
