Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times
- Lead cross-functional projects translating quantum advantage into real-world applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
