Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with error correction capabilities
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum software initiatives
- Develop patent-pending quantum IP with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Published work in Nature/Science/IEEE journals on quantum algorithms or hardware
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and quantum simulators
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
