Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems with 100+ qubit scalability

- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence in quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
