Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop novel error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in creating hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum methodologies
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical industry applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python and at least one high-performance computing language
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong track record of translating complex theories into practical implementations
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects in collaborative environments
