Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments on D-Wave and IBM systems
- Develop novel error correction protocols for NISQ-era processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing systems
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithm implementations
- Clearance for DOE/NIST collaborative projects
- Track record of translating research into commercial IP
