Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks for industrial applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience (IBM Q Experience, Cirq, or Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
