Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications

- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python, Qiskit, and C++ for quantum simulations
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or ion trap systems
