Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum security standards
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D grants
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
