Our lab operates at the intersection of theoretical physics and practical application, with access to IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and lead projects funded by DARPA and NSF.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead research on post-quantum cryptographic standards for 2026 security frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into quantum circuits
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum many-body systems and tensor network simulations
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or ion traps
