Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead experiments with superconducting qubits and photonic quantum processors
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from government agencies
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (Exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonics
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra and group theory
