Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum gate fidelity beyond 99.9%
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Lead open-source initiatives in quantum software development frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or error correction
- Proficiency in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel programming
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration in research environments
- Patent-pending or granted quantum computing technology preferred
