Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Design and execute quantum circuit architectures on superconducting platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into practical implementations
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for quantum innovations
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype quantum solutions for real-world challenges
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published work in quantum algorithms or error correction methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints and optimization techniques
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse audiences
