Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in fault-tolerant quantum computing and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world systems
- Develop and maintain quantum simulation frameworks for testing new protocols
- Publish high-impact research in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum innovations
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulation frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, interdisciplinary environments
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex quantum concepts
