Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world products
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Develop and maintain quantum simulation frameworks for algorithm prototyping
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulators
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with collaborative mindset
