Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography, material science, and AI
- Develop error-corrected quantum systems using superconducting qubits and topological quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware diagnostics
- Track record of securing DoD or NSF quantum research grants
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
