Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead experimental research on superconducting qubit systems
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA research grants
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
