Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present findings at major international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into practical quantum architectures
- Secure government and private sector funding for advanced quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum software framework
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent high-impact publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction, topological qubits, and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated success in securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate partnerships
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing architectures
