Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system development
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors at sub-Kelvin temperatures
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for quantum research initiatives
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
