Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware systems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum networks
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybridize quantum-classical workflows
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure government and private funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or NISQ technologies
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
