Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications

- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with government agencies to shape quantum policy standards
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Secure $5M+ in federal and corporate research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM Q or Rigetti systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in topological quantum computation
- Clearance for government-sponsored research projects preferred
