Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional projects with physics, materials science, and AI engineering teams
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols for scalable fault-tolerant systems
- Secure patents and publish high-impact research in top-tier journals
- Mentor PhD interns and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Present findings at international conferences (QIP, APS March Meeting)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Expertise in quantum information theory and many-body quantum systems
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and error mitigation
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
