Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for error-corrected qubit systems

- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and computational physics
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Develop patentable quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published record in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Ability to translate complex concepts for interdisciplinary teams
