Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional research projects with hardware and software teams
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum security initiatives
- Prototype and validate quantum solutions using IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave platforms
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and simulation tools
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse audiences
