Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and material science simulations
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Develop proprietary quantum software frameworks using Python and Q# integration
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journals
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure federal grants and DARPA partnerships for quantum R&D projects
- Contribute to quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in machine learning applications for quantum systems
- Proficiency in low-level programming for quantum control systems
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or photonic quantum systems
