Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors and error-correction systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies with practical business impact
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quantum machine learning integration
- Collaborate with NASA, MIT, and IBM on quantum-secure space communication systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in at least one high-level programming language (Python, C++) and low-level quantum assembly
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, ion trap, or photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable quantum solutions
