Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and fault tolerance
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to publish impactful research in top-tier journals
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
