Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction
- Develop machine learning models for quantum circuit optimization
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience with quantum circuit simulation (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in Shor's/Grover's algorithm implementations
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration protocols
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
