Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at sub-Kelvin temperatures
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion processors
- Published peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum many-body systems and entanglement theory
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental protocols
