Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques to advance quantum decoherence solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum computing architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum system performance
- Secure and manage research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation within quantum computing ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in high-performance computing environments
