Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing novel quantum error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise solutions
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to design next-gen quantum processors
- Secure multimillion-dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU acceleration)
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
